The movie "is" out on DVD and it's Quentin Tarantino's latest joint called "Death Proof". The girls are fine, and the girl that gets the tire to the face is called "Butterfly". She gives the killer a lap dance before she gets killed which is even more fucked up. Here is the lapdance ...
And also, Rose McGowan is the first victim to die. You should check out her death scene as well. It's like 5 minutes into this 10 min clip. Sorry I couldn't find another. It's not as good as the other car crash but still check out poor little rose!

I'm a huge fan of QT films. I saw Death Proof as a double feature with "Planet Terror" by Robert Rodriguez. I've posted all the highlights from death proof, and think it's a great film. However, there is hardly any action in it. There is a lot of dialog and hence, a lot of build up to death scenes, and the 2nd half of the film is mostly a car chase movie - that's also great BTW. Just my opinion.
