Who here knows the language of Java?

#1 Post by skaterbasist » Sat Sep 01, 2007 5:20 am

Currently taking programming & Algorithms, with Java as the chosen language.

It's fun and challenging!

Who here knows how to create their own java scripts out of their head? So far I only know basic simple programs.

Haven't learned java yet. It's a very interesting language though and the fact that works with almost every platform is freakin great like C. Visual basic is o.k. but the fact that it works on the dot net framework does not let it work in other platforms. Sometime in the future I'll go ahead and try out java but right now I'm heading towards C.

C or C++? If I recall, I believe C is completely different than C++.

Yeah, I think Java's biggest advantage over some other languages is that it virtually runs on any platform.

Yes C++ is an improvement over C. I am trying to go more towards C++. Sorry I was being lazy and didn't put the '++'. :oops:
