(Problem) I can't sleep at night!

Guys!

I can't sleep at night!
My bed time is - 9:30PM
I wake up at 12am!

Ok i'll simplify this! I have insomnia! I need help to combat it or overcome it.

This is annoying and really frustrating! It also scares that there is something wrong with my body!
I get up at 12am and watch TV before going off to bed!
This started to happen last tuesday! (1/7/08)

Can anyone post an suggestions on how to Sleep Better! I feel scared that I can't sleep!

Should I see a Doctor?
Take Sleep Pills?
Read Books?
Exercise? (Jog, Sports etc)

Help and Reply Back soon!

Note: Do not think this is a joke or take this not seriously! I seriously need help!

i hear you man i have the same problem some times i wake up at 6am to go to work get outta work from my second gig at 11pm (i should be exhausted by then right?wrong) i still cant sleep until 2am or 3 am what i find helpful is popping a few pills in an hour before u wanna knock out if you cant get a hold of sleeping pills get some Tylenol or Advil PM's i get drowzy with about 3 other than that i dont know man

I had the same problem still do, just not as bad.

Excersise not too late at night and not too early. Best time is around 6pm.
Also, change your diet up and eat healthy.

Now, get "Melatonin" it's in milk and helped you sleep. (You can get it from a drugstore/doctor)
Make sure you go to sleep at the same time so your body clock doesnt randomly wake you up etc...


Stop playing video games all night.
Dont drink caffeine etc before bedtime. But it helps me sleep sometimes because it stimulates your brain.
Also, you might have sleep apnea. I would go to the dr. and get checked out.


Note: I know this thread is old but it will always be here to help ya out.
