The controls are different!

Its harder to find people!

lol.. ya so? I know.. my overall score ratio on the server is like 8 - 11.. Which isn't that bad considering i only been playing cs for about 9 months..

AMX ranking is by how many more kills you have than deaths.. If you play and your total ratio is 900,000 - 1,000,000 then a person with a score of 0 - 1000 would be better rank than you!

If you play and have a ratio of 100 - 10, somebody with a K/D ratio of 50 - 0 would be worse rank, even tho his ratio is much bestter.

Actually the way AMX ranks players is kills - deaths - teamkills = overall score.
EMO with AWP is right, someone with less kills than you can have a higher rank but his example was off.
If you have a 100 (kills) - 10 (deaths) - 0 (TKs) = 90 (overall score). The higher the score the better.
If a player has 50 (kills) - 0 (deaths) - 0 (TKs) = 50 (overall score). Then the previous player with overall score of 90 has a higher ranking.
But if a player has 100,000 (kills) - 99,970 (deaths) - 0 (TKS) = 30 (OS) then the player with 50 kills, no deaths & no TKs ranks higher.

I thought you gained ranks from tking and it counted as a normal kill? In the old Non-Steam server i remember this one time on rats i was fucking around and tked 4 ppl in 1 round on de_rats, and i gained like 2 ranks.
