Finally after what seems like months and months...wait...it has been that long..
Infinity Ward has some word on the map pack for PC players.
Fourzerotwo has let us know through his blog that the map pack will be released on
Thursday June, 5th. In other words that's in
ONE WEEK from now.
The map pack is being released at no extra charge to PC users thanks to the sponsorship of
Nvidia. Nvidia will apparently also be running a few promotions leading up to the release of the map pack as well as beyond that so look for the news on that here as well as it becomes available. The map pack will consist of the four maps which were already released to Xbox and PS3 users; Broadcast, Chinatown, Killhouse, and Creek.
So PC users get ready to snipe, shoot, stab and nade your way through these exciting maps. Hopefully this will satiate everyone's thirst for more maps, more multiplayer carnage and more multiplayer killing!!!
In relation to the newest patch coming out (1.6), this will also be released on June 5th, with the map pack for PC users. This upcoming patch will address a server crash exploit as well as a few new features and bug fixes. Watch for the full list on these fixes here once they become available to us.
