Hey boys and girls, welcome back to Vnet. We apologize about the downtime due to hardware upgrades. We should of posted this up before we took down the server to let you guys know it was going to be down. We thought that it was going to be up in no time but due to some hardware issues and other problems that occurred, it took longer than expected. But thats only the bad news, heres the good news; lets all thank KreepingMonkey for donating more than half the parts for the new server :). We would really appreciate it if you pm him to thank him.

Anyway, we upgraded from this:
  • Windows Home Server Beta RC2
  • p4 2.4Ghz (no hyper-threading)
  • 1 gb ddr 400
  • 900mb hdd space
To This:
  • Windows XP Pro 32-bit
  • e6600
  • 1 gb ddr2 667 (to be upgraded to 2gb) 2Gb Twin2X @ 800Mhz
  • 2 tb hdd space
Well we hope you guys enjoy the site and thank Vinyard for doing all of this for us! The Counter-Strike server should be up in no time. Once again, thanks for supporting the vnet site! Oh and one last thing, please let us know if you have any ideas about the site. If you see any errors, please report them to any admin. Thank you!
